Calling all ghosts, superheroes, princesses, dinosaurs, witches, wizards, and trick-or-treaters! For more than 15 years, Florida Tech has welcomed families across Brevard County to campus for our annual Halloween celebration. This year, the tradition continues with a brand-new adventure - Treat or Treat is becoming Trunk or Treat!
Join us on Florida Tech's beautiful campus in Melbourne for a day filled with creatively decorated trunks, fun characters, outdoor games, music, inflatables, activities and, of course, LOTS of candy!
Our themed trunks are designed with different ages in mind, so families can find everything from colorful, no-scare fun for our littlest trick-or-treaters to spooky Halloween adventures for older kids.
And the best part? Trunk or Treat is completely FREE and open to the community, courtesy of Florida Tech!
NOTE: In the event of inclement weather, the event will be canceled and will not be rescheduled. You can visit our Facebook page for updates
Once you've collected your candy, there's more to explore!

Enter if you dare! For 2026, Florida Tech students are transforming the L3Harris Student Design Center hallway into a walkthrough scare experience inspired by The Last of Us.
Unlike the rest of Trunk or Treat, which is designed primarily around family-friendly Halloween fun, The Scare Zone is intentionally designed to frighten guests. Expect a dark environment, live scare actors, sudden scares, loud sounds, flashing and strobing lights, fog effects, frightening imagery and simulated gore.
Think of this experience like a PG-13 horror movie brought to life or one of the walkthrough haunted attractions you might encounter at a major Halloween theme-park event.
The Scare Zone may not be appropriate for young children or guests who are sensitive to flashing lights, darkness, loud or sudden noises, fog, frightening characters, jump scares, confined environments, or simulated blood and gore. Parents and guardians should use their own judgment when deciding whether the experience is appropriate for their children.
The Scare Zone is completely optional. Guests can enjoy the full Trunk or Treat festival without entering it.
The Scare Zone itself is designed to be a short walkthrough experience, but because guests will enter in controlled groups, there may be a line during popular times.
If the line is long, don't worry! Enjoy the trunks, candy, games, inflatables, and other festival activities and come back later. The Scare Zone will operate throughout the event, subject to capacity and event conditions.

Florida Tech students are the heart of Trunk or Treat! They spend weeks building decorations, designing themes, and transforming vehicles into incredible Halloween experiences.
On event day, our student volunteers bring their Panther spirit to life by welcoming families, handing out candy, running games, and ensuring everyone has a memorable time. Have a question or need directions? Just look for a volunteer—they are happy to help!
