Bio

Rodney Greene serves as President of the Brevard Veterans Coalition, offering distinguished leadership shaped by his combat service, personal resilience, and unwavering dedication to supporting fellow veterans.

A proud U.S. Army combat veteran, Greene served in Operation Desert Storm with the storied Big Red One — the 1st Infantry Division, where he demonstrated courage, discipline, and commitment under fire.

Following his return from combat, Greene faced a long and difficult battle with PTSD, navigating years of personal struggle while working to rebuild his life. Determined to seek healing, he worked his way through the complexities of the VA system to access the care he needed.

Through that challenging journey, Greene gained invaluable knowledge of veteran resources, benefits, and support pathways—insights that would ultimately shape his mission.

Motivated by his experiences and guided by his creed, “Leave no man behind,” Greene became an advocate for veterans, dedicating himself to helping others avoid the obstacles he once faced. His personal motto, “If you served, you deserve,” reflects his deep belief that every veteran is worthy of honor, support, and dignity.

As President of the Brevard Veterans Coalition, Greene has strengthened partnerships across civic, faith-based, and veteran organizations; expanded resource access; and championed programs such as A Night of Honor and outreach initiatives for underserved and at-risk veterans.

His leadership ensures that no veteran stands alone and that their service is remembered, respected, and supported.

Greene’s life and work—shaped by sacrifice, perseverance, and compassion—continue to uplift the veteran community and inspire all who share in the mission of service.
