PRESENTATION GUIDANCE

ORAL PRESENTATIONS

Presentations are 15 minutes in length. It is recommended that your presentation last approximately 12 minutes in order to provide ample time for questions afterward.

Presenters do not need to bring their own PC, as a Windows based laptop with Internet access will be installed at the session room. Presenters will need to upload their PPT to the computer of their respective lecture in the morning or during a break, to ensure fluidity between sessions. Although the PC will have Internet access, it is advised that presenters bring their PPT on a USB in the case that Internet access is lost. If you are going to be using special equipment, such as slide projectors, you should be at the meeting room 15 minutes before the start of your session to ensure your presentation will work properly.

All presentations need to be in either PowerPoint (PPT) or PDF format, and titled to include the surname of the presenting author.

POSTER PRESENTATIONS

Poster Presentations are scheduled for the evening of Tech Con. Presenters should hangup their poster as early in the day as possible.

Drinks and appetizers will be made available for the duration of the reception.

  • IMPORTANT NOTICE: Posters must be approximately 3' x 4' (feet) and in landscape orientation (91.5cm x 122cm OR 36in x 48in).
